Scholarships are financial aid awarded to a student based upon some talent or other characteristic. Factors such as grades and academic ability, music or artistic talent, athletic ability, or membership in a group or organization may all be criteria for awarding scholarships. In some cases, financial need is also a consideration.
Applications for each of these scholarship opportunities are available at the Guidance Departments of each high school.
