Catholic Central began its rich tradition founded on Christ-centered quality education in 1906. Catholic Central has the distinction of being the first coeducational diocesan high school in the country. West Catholic High School began its collaboration with Catholic Central in 1962 creating the Grand Rapids Catholic Secondary Schools (GRCSS). In the first 100 years of existence, Catholic Secondary Schools have made a tremendous impact on not only our graduates, but the community at large.
